JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager is responsible for overseeing all departments and operations of the facility, including guest services, reservations, locker room attendants, cleaning attendants, therapy attendants, pool attendants, inventory, massage therapists, restaurant staff, and laundry staff. The role involves leading and managing a team to ensure the successful execution of operations, service standards, and business goals while maximizing guest and employee satisfaction and financial performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set the tone for service and culture. Motivate and develop team leads and frontline staff.
- Provide consistent feedback, set clear expectations, and celebrate wins.
- Monitor daily operations and adjust as needed to meet guest satisfaction, team performance, and business goals. Stay hands-on and hyper-aware.
- Track department performance, manage labor and expenses, run meetings, and help create structures that scale. You’ll be part coach, part operator.
- Support Growth by providing hiring feedback, supporting onboarding, and performance management. Identify development needs and help your team level up.
- Understand the impact of each department and work to improve efficiency, flow, and financial performance to improve customer experience.
DESIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, guest services, or operations leadership.
- Proven track record managing diverse, fast-paced teams.
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence—firm when needed, always fair.
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and performance coaching.
- Bonus: Degree in Hospitality, Business, or similar.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary range: $70,000–$85,000/year.
