The Division Sales Director will play a critical role in driving growth, increasing market share, and expanding the brand's footprint within the designated division. This individual will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, establish strategic partnerships, and cultivate relationships with key distributors and retail partners. Requirements
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives. Identify market trends, set sales goals, and establish KPIs to drive growth and profitability.
- Sales Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities with an emphasis on having fun in the role!
- Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure effective product placement, promotional execution, and market penetration. Negotiate agreements and ensure alignment to sales targets and initiatives.
- Retail & On-Premise Expansion: Drive distribution across retail, on-premise, and alternative channels. Collaborate with key accounts, grocery chains, restaurants, and bars to secure placements and grow brand visibility. BHAG: BERO™️ will be the call-brand On-Premise by EOY 2026!
- Market Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports on regional activity, market share, and competitive insights. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging, seamless product launches, and alignment on regional initiatives.
- Budget Management: Oversee regional budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities. Serve as a passionate ambassador for the company's mission and values.
- Division Scope: CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, CO, NM, UT, NV, TX, OK, AR, LA, NE, KS.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in beverage, CPG, or non-alcoholic sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong knowledge of distributor networks and retail dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a geographically dispersed team.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
