Chobani's Senior Director of Sales Planning, will craft, implement, & track the company's go to market direction in support of the overall company goals and initiatives. They will be a strategic partner to support effective decision-making, providing insights, intelligence, & actionable recommendations to impact the marketplace. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales Planning, and work in close partnership with sales leadership & cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop clear, concise, fact-based strategies that incorporate each brand platform & focus on 4p assessment & analysis to optimize existing product/platform performance
- Build channel specific robust trade & product development roadmaps to accelerate future growth & generate expansion (distribution, dollar sales, volume, profit) in the marketplace
- Lead the planning and the development of the go-to-market marketing strategy, lead execution & performance tracking across the channel
- Craft clear, compelling narratives for sell-in and customer-facing meetings (JBPs, top-to-tops, innovation sessions, etc.), translating complex data into concise, persuasive stories that resonate with buyers and drive decisions
- Build visually distinctive, data-driven presentations that tell a cohesive story through clean, compelling visuals, enabling the sales team to show up with confidence and impact in any customer forum
- Track industry, customer, category and competitive trends, strategies, and behavior, and recommend solutions (via fact-based selling presentations) to create competitive advantage, add customer value and propel future growth
- Monitor & develop multi-year mix management (platform & channel) & promotional strategies to deliver company financial goals
- Find opportunities to evolve & innovate in partnership (JBP) with customers (short & long term)
- Work collaboratively to develop internal & external relationships with vendors, suppliers & partners
- Provide key insights to sales teams using multiple sources of data (internal, syndicated, shopper) to enhance the customer value chain in collaboration with our internal category / insights team, 3rd party vendor partners/agencies and custom research projects
- Lead a hard-working team; build and maintain a strong culture
- Partner with internal functions such as Category, Commercialization, Shopper Marketing, Product Development, and Commercial Finance to implement trade & channel strategies from development to execution to performance tracking
- Perform additional duties as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years CPG experience
- 7+ years in a leadership role
- Strong team leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to attract, develop, maintain & grow teammates
- Ability to influence & navigate cross-functional relationships within a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects, teams, and collaborate with multiple business partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledgeable of marketplace, channel and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
- Proficiency leveraging syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana, Scintilla, 84.51 etc.) to extract actionable insights and build fact-based selling stories
- Willingness to travel (40%)

The salary range for this full-time position is $178,500.00 - $280,500.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
