Job Summary
As MiLa’s Product Marketing Manager, you'll be the mastermind behind our Frozen Chinese Food revolution, crafting irresistible product stories and driving our journey to market dominance! You will become an expert on MiLa’s product and how to position it best in the market. You will determine market fit for product launches and work with our brand team and DTC website team on how to best communicate our selection to our customers. You will craft MiLa’s product narrative and influence our product offerings to support our objective to become the market leader in Frozen Chinese Food. Your goal is to liaise between internal teams (Product/R&D, brand, website and sales teams) and MiLa’s customers.
Duties/Responsibilities
Conduct regular, periodic research to gather customer feedback and inform product development and iteration
Provide assessment of market landscape to guide product development decisions

Generate demand by executing go-to-market communication for new product launches
Identify target audiences
Use customer insights to inform product naming and packaging inputs
Develop product positioning and placement
Craft product narrative in partnership with Brand team

Build cases for business investment for specific items
Synthesize, analyze, and implement learnings from customer feedback sources (e.g. surveys, industry reports, competitive assessments, customer research, beta tests, etc)
Gather inputs for stage-gate process
Influence product roadmap by prioritizing items for product-market-fit
Develop marketing collateral, including consumer education and content messaging to support product launches and ongoing marketing efforts
Inform new item demand forecasting with data and insights
Collaborate across cross-functional teams (marketing, brand, sales, partnerships, etc.) to achieve launch goals and communicate product clearly to customer
Drive product adoption post-launch
Measure and report product launch results compared to expectation, collate customer feedback, and iterate on product research and development processes as needed
The position is required to travel <5-10% time for company wide meetings and events
- The position can be on-site (Sumner, WA) or remote (anywhere in the US)
Required Skills & Abilities
Experience with market research, shaping product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies with proven track record of product-market-fit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Excel
Education & Experience
7+ years of experience in product marketing
Experience in DTC or Food & Beverage industry a plus
Bachelors Degree required
