THE ROLE
As a Partner Implementation Manager, you will lead end-to-end implementation projects for Farfetch partners -driving new onboardings, marketplace expansions, and complex solution upgrades. Acting as the critical bridge between external partners and internal teams, you will blend project management rigor with a strong understanding of e-commerce integrations. You will serve as the key operational authority to ensure timely, high-quality rollouts, ensuring partners are fully equipped and integrated to succeed on the Farfetch marketplace.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- End-to-End Implementation Management: Lead partner onboarding and upgrade projects from kickoff to go-live. Establish clear timelines, manage dependencies, define deliverables, and proactively mitigate bottlenecks or roadblocks.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the central liaison bridging external partners with key internal Farfetch teams, specifically Integrations, Pricing, Finance, Commercial, and Marketing, ensuring seamless alignment and execution across all business functions.
- Integration Project Management: Guide partners through their technical integrations (e.g., API, CSV/XML feeds, or plugins). While you won't write the code, you will manage the integration lifecycle, define solution architectures based on existing Farfetch capabilities, and translate technical requirements between developers and business stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance & UAT: Coordinate and support partners during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase. Facilitate test orders, returns processing, and collaborate with internal technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve data flow issues before launch.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Be the Farfetch operational expert on B2B marketplace processes, including Catalogue management, Fulfilment workflows, Pricing configurations, and Financial reconciliation, supporting both integrated and manual partners.
- Partner Autonomy & Training: Train external partners on Farfetch platforms and operational processes, ensuring they can efficiently and autonomously manage their day-to-day marketplace operations post-launch.
- Global Rollouts & Continuous Improvement: Lead marketplace-wide rollouts for new Partner business models. Act as the internal point of contact for piloting new tools, optimizing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and refining integration documentation and training materials.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced E-commerce PM: You have 3+ years of experience in technical project management, B2B partner onboarding, e-commerce operations, or software implementation.
- Integration-Savvy (PM Perspective): You possess a solid conceptual understanding of system integrations (e.g., REST APIs, XML/CSV data feeds, middleware, e-commerce platforms like Shopify/Magento). You know how systems talk to each other and can confidently manage technical dependencies without needing to be a developer.
- Stakeholder Manager: You have a proven track record of managing complex cross-functional relationships, specifically navigating the sometimes competing priorities of commercial teams (Sales/Marketing) and operational/technical teams (Integrations/Finance).
- Analytical Problem Solver: You move past generic troubleshooting and rely on structured QA processes, UAT methodologies, and root-cause analysis to resolve order flow or catalog mapping issues.
- Execution-Oriented Organizer: You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple concurrent implementation cycles, keeping strict adherence to milestones and SLAs.
- Multilingual Communicator: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Italian, French, and/or Spanish is a strong plus for supporting our diverse global partner base.
