Hawthorne is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Operations and Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize Company’s supply chain across packaging manufacturers, formula labs, freight, customs, and logistics partners by developing strong relationships and delivering executional excellence
• Ensure consistent flow of inventory to satisfy demand needs across all Company’s distribution channels by partnering with Finance to accurately forecast inventory and executing the buying and procurement of goods
• Manage relationship with Company’s 3PL for all fulfillment and shipping needs across DTC and wholesale
• Support the development of product expansions and new product lines
• Manage all special product projects including kitting, repackaging, one-off products, etc.
• Provide operational support for retail channels including Target, Amazon, Nordstrom, and specialty retailers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance to assess and manage financial impact of all Operations-led projects
• Ensure Company and its products follow federal and industry standards, as well as retailer formulation standards

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
  • 2+ years in investment banking or management consulting
  • 2+ years in a principal investing role (private equity, hedge fund, etc.)
  • 2+ years in a corporate or startup operations or supply chain role
• Incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator
• A true problem-solver who is creative and flexible in their solutioning
• Highly quantitative and analytical self-starter with the ability to process large data sets
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel; experience in SQL or Python is a plus
• Strong external stakeholder management and cross-functional teaming abilities
• Embraces a highly collaborative and agile team environment
• Open to challenging existing ideas and methods and thinking outside the box
