We launched on March 26, 2025, and sold out in under 24 hours. Now, we’re on a mission to take this brand to the next level, and we’re looking for a Trade Marketing Intern to help us make that happen.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Manager drives business growth by building and retaining client relationships. Serving as the primary link between point of view beauty and its retail customer accounts, the Account Manager ensures client satisfaction, resolves disputes, and maximizes revenue through upselling. This role supports sales and client relations by managing day-to-day communications, coordinating orders, analyzing sales data, and processing administrative requests, bridging the gap between the Sales Team, internal departments, and retail clients to ensure smooth operations and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, organized, and commercially sharp, with a strong sense of ownership over their accounts. This role will contribute to pov by deepening retail partnerships, growing revenue, and keeping the brand’s products performing on shelf.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship building: act as the primary day-to-day contact for retail buyers, handling inquiries, reorders, and product questions.
  • Account growth: identify opportunities for upsells, cross-sells, meet revenue targets, and manage and track trade budgets.
  • Client strategy: understand client goals and ensure products and services consistently deliver value and meet their needs.
  • Internal coordination: collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects. •
  • Performance tracking: prepare progress reports, track KPIs, and deliver retail sales reporting and analysis, create and manage promo calendars for both marketing and retail sales promotions and events.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work with field sales team, marketing, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure products launch on time and stay in stock.
  • Planning & forecasting: partner with the sales manager to build annual account plans (revenue, distribution, and promo targets) aligned to growth goals, including ongoing forecasting.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 2–5 years with a proven track record in account management, sales, or customer success.
  • Experience in a wholesale retail business
  • Background in beauty, cosmetics, or consumer products.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, revenue forecasting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and project management tools. Advanced skills in excel, work, Claude Cowork, PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TikTok and social commerce.
  • Experience with large retailers (ideally Sephora & Ulta)
  • Experience managing trade budgets and promotional calendars.
