We’re seeking a talented Designer, Lounge & Sleep to help us shape and grow our lounge and apparel categories through innovative design and thoughtful product development.
Position Overview
The Designer, Lounge & Sleep will design elevated, trend-forward loungewear and sleep collections that embody the SKIMS brand DNA. This role is highly creative and hands-on, responsible for the full design lifecycle—from concept development through production. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of construction fabric and fit, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop SKIMS lounge and sleep collections, ensuring they align with brand vision, seasonal trends, and market needs.
· Create sketches, renderings and technical flats for line sheets , presentations and tech packs.
· Work with Product Development and Raw Materials team to source and develop materials.
· Collaborate with Technical Design, Product Development and Production to ensure exceptional fit, construction, and quality standards.
· Translate creative concepts into detailed tech packs, for vendor execution.
· Present design concepts and prototypes to leadership for feedback and approval.
· Stay ahead of emerging trends, competitor activity, and cultural shifts to inform design innovation.
· Support sample development, fittings, and production handoff to meet design intent and launch timelines.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
· 4+ years of design experience, preferably in loungewear, sleep wear and ready-to-wear.
· Strong knowledge of garment construction, draping, and patternmaking.
· Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems; CLO 3D a plus but not required.
· Exceptional eye for color, silhouette, and fabric.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable sharing ideas with executives and cross-functional teams

Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 / year
