Drive cross-functional alignment around forecasts and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned when unexpected issues arise
Oversee production & inbound plans across 7 manufacturers and 3 DCs
Optimize inventory positions across all SKUs (finished goods and raw materials) to avoid out-of-stock events while minimizing cash tied up in inventory and holding costs
Lead weekly inventory planning process & meetings, collaborating with Procurement and Supply Chain to execute according to plan
Perform any relevant analysis needed to investigate forecasting anomalies and communicate any issues to leadership
Lead business case developments, scenario modeling and any ad-hoc analysis as needed within the Supply Chain team
Develop, monitor and report on forecasting metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, weeks on hand goals, out-of-stock events etc
Monitor and report on other Supply Chain KPIs - such as On Time Delivery, Quality metrics, Unit COGS etc
Collaborate with Finance to tie operational plans to margin and cashflow targets
Support on any other Supply Chain initiatives as needed - such as continuous improvement projects, MRP integrations etc
-
Build out and grow the Inventory Planning function within Supply Chain
