Gucci Westman has more than 20 years of professional experience as a major editorial makeup artist, contributing to publications like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Position Summary
The Senior Social Strategist will lead the development and execution of strategy for our owned social channels, focusing on growth, engagement, and achieving key performance goals across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for crafting compelling content strategy and pillars, optimizing posting cadence, and leveraging social trends to enhance brand presence, grow followers, and achieve relevant KPIs. The Senior Social Strategist will be a key player in driving brand visibility, engagement, and community growth, utilizing a strategic approach to social media and a deep understanding of platform dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategy for owned social channels and engagement to meet annual goals
- Identify and optimize ideal cadence to maximize organic performance
- Creation of monthly content calendar that ties to evergreen, NPD focus, key brand moments, as well as overall brand goals
- Oversee Community strategy in partnership with Manager, Social & Community
- Responsible for platform growth and goal setting across key metrics - followers, engagement rate, reach and impressions
- Deep knowledge across key social KPI’s and owns weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on performance against goals
- Identify opportunities for emerging channels
- Relationship management with platform reps (Meta, TikTok, etc) and deep understanding of platform dynamics
- Brief Design team on engagement-driven asset execution
- Work with Content and Design teams on communication and deadlines for monthly Content Creator program
- Post or schedule posts to go live in line with the cadence
Requirements:
- Strong background in social analytics
- Very platform-literate - immersed in functions and new features across platforms
- Basic iPhone editing skills
- 5+ years of experience in various social media platforms including Meta and Tiktok
- Deep expertise across platforms particularly Meta and TikTok
- Out of the box, creative thinker
- High taste level and strong brand understanding
- Agile, highly organized individual
- Luxury beauty experience a plus
- Startup experience a plus
